Compact business desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M625 is a mini desktop designed for office environments that value space savings and network-centric security. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and targets IT managers deploying thin-client fleets in sectors such as healthcare where data stays on the network rather than the device.

One-litre chassis with flexible mounting

The black 1-litre enclosure is 96% smaller than a traditional tower and can sit horizontally or vertically, with options to mount behind a monitor, under a desk or on a wall. Connectivity includes DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 5, while the 65W power supply feeds the system without an external brick.

Low-power APU keeps thermals simple

The AMD A4-9120C dual-core processor runs at 1.6GHz base with a 2.4GHz boost and 1MB L2 cache, drawing minimal power inside the tiny case. Integrated graphics and the 8GB DDR4 memory handle routine business workloads, while the 256GB NVMe SSD provides fast boot and application storage without adding heat.

Questions about this item

What does the Gigabit Ethernet port limit the wired network speed to?

The Gigabit Ethernet port caps the wired connection at 1 Gbps, so transfers cannot exceed that rate even if the switch or router supports faster speeds.

What physical mounting options does the 1-litre mini chassis support?

The compact chassis can be placed horizontally or vertically, and it accepts a VESA bracket for behind-monitor or wall mounting as well as a floor stand.

How is the Windows 11 Pro licence activated on this PC, and what step do people often miss?

Windows 11 Pro activates automatically on first internet connection; the step users miss is ensuring the PC is online during the initial out-of-box setup so the digital licence binds to the hardware.
