Compact Mini Desktop for Everyday Work

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M700 Mini is a small-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i5-6500T processor that reaches 3.10 GHz. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB solid-state drive, plus Windows 11 Professional pre-installed. A wired keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Upgrade from Older Small-Form PCs

This system replaces ageing mini desktops that max out at 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage, eliminating the bottlenecks that slow multitasking and application loading. The jump is worth it when your current machine struggles with multiple browser tabs, office suites, or light creative tools.

Suited to Space-Constrained Offices and Home Desks

Buyers who need a quiet, low-footprint PC for standard productivity, video calls, and web-based workflows will find the M700 Mini a practical fit. Those who require a discrete graphics card, additional internal drive bays, or more than 32GB of RAM should look at larger tower configurations.

Questions about this item

Does the 700 series Mini chassis have the 11 cm clearance needed for the included wired keyboard and mouse on a typical desk?

The unit measures roughly 11 cm tall, so allow at least that much vertical space plus room for the wired keyboard and mouse cables at the front USB 3.0 ports.

Which screw must be removed first to open the case and seat the 32 GB DDR4 modules correctly?

Loosen the single captive thumbscrew on the side panel, slide the cover off, then press each DDR4 DIMM straight down until the retention clips click — skipping the click is the common mistake.

When should the 512 GB SSD be replaced if the SMART health indicator drops below 45 percent?

Plan a replacement once the drive’s reported health falls under 45 percent to avoid unexpected downtime on the Windows 11 Pro installation.
