ThinkCentre M700 Mini desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M700 Mini is a small-form-factor desktop powered by a 6th generation Intel Core i5-6500T processor with a maximum turbo speed of 3.10 GHz. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB solid-state drive for the operating system and applications. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 handles display output through two DisplayPort connectors. The unit includes a wired keyboard and mouse and ships with Windows 11 Professional 64-bit installed.

Installation and common issues

The compact chassis uses standard SFF mounting points and the components are accessible after removing the side panel. Memory slots and the 2.5-inch drive bay are within easy reach for upgrades. The included 65 W external power supply connects via a proprietary barrel connector; losing this adapter is the most frequent cause of a non-starting system. Driver installation for the integrated graphics and chipset is straightforward through Windows Update.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This desktop suits office workers, students and home users who need a quiet, space-saving PC for web browsing, document editing and video conferencing. The 256GB drive and integrated graphics limit its usefulness for media libraries, modern gaming or multi-monitor workloads beyond two displays. Buyers who need more storage capacity or discrete graphics performance should consider a larger tower system.
