Compact desktop for business professionals

The Lenovo Thinkcentre M70Q G5 is a tiny form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i5-12500T hexa-core processor running at 2.00 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 256 GB SSD, providing responsive multitasking and fast boot times in a chassis that weighs 2.76 kg. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and no monitor is included.

Suits office workers needing a small footprint.

This system suits professionals who need a reliable, space-saving PC for daily productivity, video calls and data handling in tight workspaces or horizontal layouts. Integrated UHD Graphics 770 handles standard business visuals but cannot drive high-end 3D workloads or multiple high-refresh displays. Buyers who require discrete graphics performance, internal expansion slots or larger local storage should consider a different platform.

Fits VESA mounts and frees desk space

The tiny USFF chassis can be mounted behind a compatible display using a VESA bracket, clearing the desk for peripherals and documents. Its small footprint also allows placement on a shelf or in a secure cabinet. External connectivity handles keyboards, mice, additional storage and network cables, while the integrated graphics and DDR5 memory reduce the need for extra internal components.

Questions about this item

What type of RAM must the motherboard support if I ever replace it in this Thinkcentre M70Q G5?

The system ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory, so any replacement motherboard must accept DDR5 modules.

Will my existing DisplayPort monitor work with the integrated UHD Graphics 770 on the i5-12500T?

UHD Graphics 770 drives modern DisplayPort and HDMI displays at up to 4K resolution, so your current monitor will work if it uses either interface.

How can I confirm the 256 GB SSD and 32 GB DDR5 are recognised after first boot?

Open Windows Settings > System > Storage to see the 256 GB drive, and Task Manager > Performance > Memory to verify 32 GB DDR5 is detected.
