ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 Tiny Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 is a Tiny form-factor desktop PC built around an Intel Core i5-14500T processor with vPro technology. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB SSD, running Windows 11 Pro on Intel UHD Graphics 770. A USB keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Suits compact workspaces needing managed performance

This system suits offices that require a small footprint, Intel vPro manageability, and enough memory for simultaneous business applications. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, internal expansion slots, or a chassis larger than the Tiny form factor should consider other configurations.

32 GB DDR5 memory capacity

The 32 GB DDR5 configuration determines whether this unit meets the multitasking and virtualization demands of the target workload. Memory is soldered or limited to two SO-DIMM slots in this platform, so the factory-installed capacity is the key specification for upgrade planning.

Questions about this item

How do I add a second M.2 SSD to the Tiny chassis?

Remove the bottom cover, insert the drive into the open M.2 slot at the standard angle, then fasten the supplied standoff screw.

What memory upgrade will this system need later?

The board uses DDR5 SO-DIMM modules; add or replace sticks with matching DDR5 speed when more capacity is required.

Which thermal limit appears first during prolonged heavy loads?

The 90 W power adapter caps sustained CPU power, so the processor will throttle before the chassis reaches its thermal ceiling.
