Compact Business Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M715q Tiny is a new small-form-factor PC built for office environments where desk space is limited. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, a Ryzen 5 Pro 2400GE processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD. Integrated Radeon graphics drive up to two DisplayPort monitors.

Buyer Fit

This system suits professionals handling documents, web apps and video calls in a compact footprint. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for 3D rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. The tiny chassis restricts internal expansion, so users requiring additional drive bays or add-in cards will need a larger form factor.

Deciding Specification

The integrated Radeon RX Vega 11 graphics share system memory and determine the visual workloads this PC can handle. If your workflow demands a dedicated GPU with its own video memory, this specification makes the M715q the wrong choice. For standard office productivity the shared graphics are sufficient.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise does the 16 GB Ryzen 5 Pro 2400GE system produce during all-day use?

The compact chassis uses an internal fan to cool the processor and integrated Radeon RX Vega 11 graphics; under continuous load the case becomes warm and the fan spins audibly but remains within normal office background levels.

Which peripherals and cables are not included so I must provide them myself?

The box contains the Tiny desktop, a keyboard, a mouse and a 22 inch monitor; you only need to supply the mains power cord and any additional USB 3.0 or DisplayPort cables for extra devices.

Will my older USB 2.0 printer and VGA-only display work with the four rear USB 3.0 ports and two DisplayPort outputs?

Yes — the rear USB 3.0 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices, and a DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter lets you connect a legacy monitor to either of the two DisplayPort sockets.
