Compact all-in-one desktop for business users

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q combines a 22 inch FHD IPS display with an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running up to 4.10 GHz. Eight gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout with a 128 GB M.2 SSD plus a 1 TB hard drive provide responsive boot times and ample file space. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment in office environments.

Included peripherals and connectivity simplify setup

A USB keyboard and mouse are bundled so the system is ready to work straight from the box. Wireless access comes via a USB dongle capable of 5 GHz bands alongside Bluetooth. A built-in DVD-ROM drive handles legacy media, while the all-in-one chassis keeps cabling to a minimum on crowded desks.

Micro form factor chassis fits tight spaces

The tiny footprint allows mounting behind the display or on a VESA bracket, freeing valuable surface area. Intel UHD Graphics drives the integrated panel without a discrete card, limiting 3D performance to light workloads. Memory tops out at 32 GB DDR4, so buyers who need more storage or higher graphics throughput should plan accordingly.

Questions about this item

Can the 8 GB DDR4 memory be expanded later?

The system supports up to 32 GB of DDR4 UDIMM, so the 8 GB module can be replaced or a second stick added.

What component limits performance first during a long heavy workload?

The Intel UHD Graphics integrated in the i5-8500 will reach its thermal ceiling before the 65 W CPU does.

How loud and hot does the Tiny chassis get when it runs all day?

The 65 W hexa-core chip and compact Micro case mean the fan spins up noticeably and the top surface becomes warm to the touch.
