Compact all-in-one desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny integrates a 22-inch FHD IPS display with an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running at 3.0 GHz up to 4.1 GHz. It ships with 32 GB DDR4 memory, a 512 GB M.2 SSD plus a 1 TB hard drive, and Windows 11 Pro. The micro form factor saves desk space for office and home users who want a complete system in one unit.

Integrated graphics and storage limits

Intel UHD Graphics handles everyday productivity and video playback but is not suited for modern gaming or heavy 3D workloads. The M.2 SSD holds the operating system for fast boot times while the 1 TB hard drive provides bulk storage for documents and media. A DVD-ROM drive is included for legacy media access.

Micro chassis with USB peripherals

The tiny black case uses a 240-pin DIMM form factor and includes a USB keyboard and mouse. Wireless connectivity comes via a USB dongle capable of 5 GHz bands. The all-in-one design means the display cannot be upgraded separately and internal expansion is limited by the compact chassis.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 512 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB hard drive or a single larger drive?

The 512 GB M.2 SSD holds the operating system and apps for fast boot and launch times, while the 1 TB hard drive adds bulk storage for documents and media.

What does the i5-8500 up to 4.10 GHz mean for everyday work?

Six cores at 3.0 GHz base with a 4.10 GHz turbo handle multitasking, web browsing and office suites smoothly; Intel UHD Graphics drives the 22 inch FHD IPS screen for video and light creative tasks.

Does the USB Wi-Fi dongle limit my network speed compared to built-in wireless?

The dongle supports 5 GHz Wi-Fi, so typical office and home connections run at their full practical rate; wired Ethernet is also available on the Tiny chassis for maximum stability.
