Compact All-in-One Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny integrates a 22-inch FHD IPS display with an 8th-generation Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor, 32 GB of DDR4 memory and dual storage. It targets office workers and small-business users who need a space-saving Windows 10 Pro system with included keyboard and mouse.

Sustained Workload Behaviour

The 65 W processor maintains up to 4.60 GHz under load thanks to Intel Turbo Boost Technology while the micro form-factor chassis manages thermals for continuous productivity tasks. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles standard business applications without discrete GPU overhead.

Deciding Specification

The 512 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB hard drive combination decides suitability; buyers who need a single larger solid-state volume or additional drive bays should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 65 W Intel Core i7-8700 draw when the system runs continuously?

The processor has a 65 W thermal design power, so sustained loads will stay near that figure while the tiny chassis and its single fan manage the heat.

Which display inputs does the 22" FHD IPS panel provide for connecting a second monitor?

The all-in-one unit includes the integrated 22" screen; external display connections are handled by the main unit's video outputs, not by the panel itself.

Can the DDR4 memory be upgraded alongside the existing 32 GB configuration?

The board uses DDR4 UDIMM slots and ships with 32 GB installed; additional modules can be added if free slots remain.
