Compact all-in-one for office work

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny integrates a 24-inch FHD IPS display with an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running at 3.0 GHz up to 4.10 GHz. It ships with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB 2.5-inch SSD. Windows 11 Pro, a USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Sustained multi-core throughput

The 65 W six-core CPU maintains its 4.10 GHz boost across extended workloads such as large spreadsheet recalculations or background compilation. Intel UHD Graphics handles everyday visual tasks without a discrete GPU. The single 1 TB SSD provides consistent read and write speeds for the operating system and active files.

Thermals, noise and power in daily use

The micro form-factor chassis uses a small internal fan that remains audible but not intrusive during typical office loads. Power draw stays near the 65 W processor rating under sustained use. The integrated 24-inch panel adds minimal extra heat, keeping the overall system quiet for open-plan desks.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 65 W i5-8500 generate during all-day use?

The Intel Core i5-8500 is rated at 65 W, so sustained workloads produce moderate heat that the Tiny chassis is designed to dissipate quietly.

Does the 240-pin DDR4 memory require any extra modules to reach 32 GB?

The system ships with 32 GB of DDR4 UDIMM already installed, so no additional memory is needed for operation.

Can the integrated Intel UHD Graphics drive a second monitor alongside the built-in 24" display?

Yes, the all-in-one includes video outputs that support an external display in addition to the internal FHD IPS panel.
