Compact all-in-one for office desks

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny integrates a 24-inch Full HD IPS display with an 8th-generation Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running at 3.0 GHz up to 4.10 GHz. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 256 GB M.2 plus 1 TB SSD provide responsive multitasking and ample local storage. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

65-watt processor keeps heat and noise low

The i5-8500 carries a 65 W thermal design, so the micro-form-factor chassis runs cool during typical productivity workloads without loud fan activity. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles everyday visual tasks without adding a discrete card that would increase power draw. A USB 5 GHz-capable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle supplies wireless connectivity while leaving internal expansion untouched.

Bundled peripherals complete the workstation

A USB keyboard and mouse are included so the system is ready to use straight from the box. The built-in DVD-ROM drive adds legacy media support for archives or installation discs. Buyers who need internal PCIe expansion slots or discrete graphics capability will not find them in this sealed all-in-one design.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 256 GB M.2 drive and what step is often missed?

The M.2 SSD mounts in the dedicated slot on the motherboard and is secured with a single screw; the step often missed is enabling the M.2 slot in BIOS before cloning or installing Windows 11 Pro.

What maintenance will the 16 GB DDR4 memory need later?

DDR4 UDIMM modules require no routine maintenance; if capacity becomes limiting the board supports up to 32 GB total, so you can add or replace modules without changing memory type.

What limit appears first during sustained loads on the i5-8500?

The 65 W processor will hit its thermal ceiling first, causing clock speeds to drop from the 4.1 GHz boost toward the 3.0 GHz base until the tiny chassis can dissipate the heat.
