A compact business desktop with a six-core i7-8700, 32 GB DDR4 and dual SSD storage running Windows 11 Pro
The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny desktop PC uses a 65 W Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor running at 3.20 GHz base and up to 4.60 GHz boost. It ships with 32 GB DDR4 UDIMM memory and a dual-drive arrangement of a 256 GB M.2 SSD plus a 1 TB SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included.
The MFF chassis restricts upgrades to low-profile components and offers no room for a discrete graphics card or additional 2.5-inch drives. The included DVD-ROM occupies the sole 5.25-inch bay and the single USB Wi-Fi dongle provides wireless connectivity. Memory slots use the 240-pin DDR4 UDIMM standard so any expansion must match that specification.
Buyers moving from larger desktops gain a drastically smaller footprint while keeping six cores and 12 threads for multi-tasking. The jump is worthwhile when desk space is at a premium and the workload stays within integrated Intel UHD Graphics capability. It is not suited for users who need discrete GPU performance or multiple internal storage bays.

Other versions of this model
This unit ships with both a 256 GB M.2 SSD and a 1 TB SSD already installed, giving you a fast boot drive and a large secondary volume in one box.
The i7-8700 runs at 3.20 GHz base and can lift to 4.60 GHz on active cores, so short bursts such as app launches or compile steps run noticeably quicker than sustained loads.
The system uses DDR4 UDIMM modules, so any future upgrade must match DDR4; other generations will not fit the 240-pin slots.
