Compact All-in-One for Office Work

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny integrates a 24-inch FHD IPS display with an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running up to 4.1 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB 2.5-inch SSD, plus Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. A USB keyboard and mouse are included for immediate desktop deployment.

Bundled Peripherals and Connectivity

The included USB keyboard and mouse remove the need for separate input purchases. A USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle provides wireless connectivity on the 5 GHz band. An internal DVD-ROM drive handles legacy optical media, while the all-in-one chassis consolidates the PC and monitor into a single micro form factor unit.

32 GB Memory and 128 GB Storage Headroom

The 32 GB DDR4 capacity supports heavy multitasking across browser tabs, office suites and background services without paging. The 128 GB SSD offers fast boot and application launch but fills quickly with large local datasets or media libraries. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles standard business visuals but is not suited for 3D rendering or modern gaming workloads.

Questions about this item

Will the 32 GB DDR4 memory need to be upgraded or replaced later?

The 32 GB DDR4 UDIMM configuration fills the available slots, so any future increase would require replacing the existing modules with higher-capacity DDR4 sticks.

What component hits its limit first during sustained heavy workloads on the i5-8500?

The 65 W hexa-core processor will reach its thermal ceiling before the 128 GB SSD or integrated Intel UHD Graphics become bottlenecks.

How much fan noise and heat should I expect when the system runs all day?

The 65 W CPU in the micro-form-factor chassis produces moderate heat; the tiny case fan spins up audibly under continuous load but remains within typical office noise levels.
