Compact All-in-One for Business

This Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny packs a 24 inch FHD IPS display and an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor into a micro form factor. With 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD, it handles everyday office workloads without needing a separate tower or cable clutter. It suits buyers who want a complete, space-saving desktop that arrives ready to deploy.

Build Integration and Expandability

The unit includes a USB keyboard, USB mouse and a 5 GHz capable USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle, so no extra peripherals are required for a basic setup. A DVD-ROM drive is built in for legacy media access. Internal expansion is limited by the tiny chassis, so buyers who want more storage bays or a discrete graphics card should consider a larger form factor.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The 65 W hexa-core CPU runs at a 3.0 GHz base frequency and can boost to 4.1 GHz when thermal headroom allows. Intel UHD Graphics shares system memory, making the system suitable for productivity and video playback rather than extended 3D rendering. Under continuous multi-threaded work the compact cooling will throttle clocks to stay within its thermal envelope.

Questions about this item

Does the 65 W TDP of the i5-8500 limit sustained performance in the tiny chassis?

The processor is rated at 65 W and the compact case relies on its built-in cooling to manage that heat during extended workloads.

How loud and hot does the M720q get when running all day?

The small form factor uses a single internal fan to cool the 65 W CPU; expect audible airflow and warm exhaust after hours of continuous use.

What must I already own to start working with this all-in-one?

The 24" FHD IPS display, USB keyboard, USB mouse, Windows 10 Pro licence and Wi-Fi/BT dongle are all included in the box.
