Compact business desktop for office workloads

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny desktop PC uses an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running at 3.0 GHz up to 4.1 GHz. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory, a 512 GB M.2 SSD plus a 1 TB hard drive, and Windows 10 Pro. The micro form factor suits offices that need a small footprint without sacrificing core performance.

Simple setup with included peripherals

A USB keyboard and mouse are supplied, so the system is ready to run after connecting power and a display. The DVD-ROM drive uses a standard slim slot-load mechanism. Wireless connectivity relies on an external USB dongle; if the dongle is misplaced, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will be unavailable until replaced.

Verify display outputs and expansion needs

The tiny chassis limits internal upgrades to the two drive bays and memory slots supporting up to 32 GB DDR4. Check that your monitor matches the available video ports on this model. Buyers who need discrete graphics, additional PCIe cards, or more than two internal drives should consider a larger form factor.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Intel Core i5-8500 processor is running at up to 4.1 GHz after setup?

Open Task Manager in Windows 10 Pro, select the Performance tab, and watch the CPU frequency reach 4.1 GHz under load.

What items are included and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the Tiny desktop, 16 GB DDR4 memory, 512 GB M.2 SSD, 1 TB hard drive, DVD-ROM drive, USB keyboard, USB mouse, USB Wi-Fi/BT dongle, and Windows 10 Pro. A monitor is not included.

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR4 configuration or the 32 GB DDR4 option?
