Compact All-in-One Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny is a 22-inch all-in-one PC built around an 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor reaching 4.1 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive arrangement of a 128 GB M.2 SSD plus a 1 TB SSD. Windows 10 Pro, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse are included.

Thermals and Power

The 65 W processor operates inside a micro form-factor chassis that relies on a compact internal cooling assembly. Under typical office workloads the system runs quietly and maintains stable temperatures without requiring a large power supply. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics shares system memory and adds no discrete thermal load.

Storage Configuration Decides Suitability

This unit provides exactly 128 GB of M.2 solid-state storage for the operating system and 1 TB of additional SSD capacity for data. Buyers who need a larger boot drive or a second M.2 slot for expansion cannot change that layout on this model.

Questions about this item

How is the 32 GB DDR4 memory installed and which step is often missed?

The system uses 240-pin DIMM slots; the step often missed is pressing each module down until the side clips click into place.

What maintenance or replacement will the 128 GB M.2 SSD and 1 TB SSD need later?

Both solid-state drives have no moving parts; plan to replace them only if capacity runs out or SMART data reports wear.

What limit appears first on the Intel UHD Graphics during sustained workloads?

The integrated GPU shares system memory and thermal headroom with the 65 W processor, so graphics performance throttles first under heavy load.
