Questions about this item

Can the 16 GB DDR4 memory be expanded later?

The system supports up to 32 GB of DDR4, so the installed 16 GB can be doubled by adding another module.

What limits performance first during a long, heavy workload on the i7-8700?

The 65 W processor will hit its thermal ceiling in the tiny chassis before the 128 GB M.2 SSD or 1 TB hard drive become bottlenecks.

How loud and hot does the M720q get when it runs all day?

The compact 65 W design relies on a small internal fan that becomes audible under sustained load, and the case surface warms noticeably after hours of continuous use.
