Compact All-in-One with i7-8700

This Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny desktop integrates a 24-inch Full HD IPS display with an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB solid-state drive. The system includes a USB keyboard, mouse, DVD-ROM drive and Windows 10 Pro for immediate deployment.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 65 W processor operates at a 3.20 GHz base frequency and can reach 4.60 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology across its 6 cores and 12 threads. Intel UHD Graphics handles everyday visual tasks without a discrete card. The compact micro form factor relies on internal airflow to manage heat during extended office sessions.

Verify that the 24-inch screen dimensions suit your desk depth and viewing distance. Confirm that peripheral connections match the available USB ports on the rear and sides. Ensure your network environment supports the supplied USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle for wireless access. Check that Windows 10 Pro meets your organisation's operating-system requirements.

Questions about this item

How much power does the i7-8700 65 W processor draw and what noise level should I expect when the Tiny runs all day?

The processor has a 65 W thermal design power; the compact chassis uses a small internal fan that becomes audible under sustained load but stays quiet during typical office tasks.

Which cables or peripherals must I already own to start using the M720q Tiny with the 24" FHD IPS monitor?

The package includes the monitor, a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, a USB Wi-Fi/Bluetooth dongle and power cords, so no extra cables are required for basic operation.

Can I keep using my older USB 2.0 printer and VGA-only projector with this system?

The Tiny provides multiple USB ports that support USB 2.0 devices, but video outputs are modern digital interfaces, so a VGA projector would need an active adapter.
