Compact business desktop with included monitor

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny is a micro-form-factor all-in-one desktop built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor reaching 4.60 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory, a 256 GB M.2 SSD plus a 1 TB SSD, and a 22-inch FHD IPS display. Windows 11 Pro, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse are included.

Fits tight workspaces and simplifies cabling

The MFF chassis and integrated monitor reduce desk footprint to a single unit, so only one power cord and the supplied USB Wi-Fi/BT dongle are required for connectivity. A built-in DVD-ROM drive handles legacy media without an external enclosure. The dual-drive layout keeps the operating system on the M.2 device while the 1 TB SSD remains free for data.

Replaces tower-and-monitor combos for office tasks

Buyers moving from a separate tower and screen gain space and cut cable count without losing six-core performance or 32 GB capacity. The configuration is not suited to workloads demanding discrete graphics or internal expansion slots, and the USB wireless dongle may not match the throughput of an integrated card.

Questions about this item

How does the 65 W Intel Core i7-8700 behave when all six cores run at 4.60 GHz for long periods?

The processor is rated at 65 W with a 4.60 GHz turbo ceiling; sustained all-core loads will hit the thermal limit of the tiny chassis before the chip reaches its maximum single-core speed.

What fan noise and case temperature should I expect after hours of continuous operation?

The micro form factor uses a compact cooler that spins up noticeably under load, so the case top becomes warm and fan noise rises to an audible level during all-day workloads.

Which display cables or adapters must I already have to connect an external monitor?

The unit includes a 22-inch FHD IPS panel and ships with USB keyboard and mouse; no additional cables are required unless you add a second screen via the onboard video outputs.
