Compact Business Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q is a micro form factor desktop built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor reaching 4.60 GHz with 12 MB cache. It ships with 32 GB DDR4 memory, a 512 GB M.2 SSD for the operating system and a 1 TB SSD for data, plus Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. A DVD-ROM drive, USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Simple Drop-In Setup

The tiny chassis uses standard 240-pin DDR4 UDIMM slots and M.2 plus 2.5-inch drive bays, so memory or storage upgrades need only a screwdriver. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drives displays without extra cables, and the supplied USB Wi-Fi/BT dongle adds wireless connectivity instantly. The only common snag is the 65 W processor power limit, which restricts sustained turbo performance in the small thermal envelope.

Office and Light Workloads

This configuration suits businesses deploying fleets for productivity, web apps and video conferencing where space is at a premium. Buyers needing discrete graphics for CAD, rendering or gaming should look elsewhere, as should anyone requiring more than two internal drives or higher sustained CPU power.

What accessories are included in the box and which common items are not supplied?

The system ships with a Lenovo USB keyboard, USB mouse, USB Wi-Fi/Bluetooth dongle, DVD-ROM drive and Windows 11 Pro installed; a monitor is not included.

Which configuration should I choose if I want the maximum memory and dual-drive storage this model supports?
