ThinkCentre M720s SFF desktop PC

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a small-form-factor business desktop built around an 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running at up to 4.10 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory, a 512 GB M.2 solid-state drive and a second 1 TB solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Office and general-purpose users

This system suits office workers, students and home users who need a compact, quiet PC for everyday productivity, web browsing and video conferencing. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles standard display output but is not designed for gaming, 3D rendering or other GPU-intensive workloads. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance should look at a different system.

16 GB DDR4 memory capacity

The desktop provides 16 GB of DDR4 UDIMM memory installed in 240-pin slots, with the platform supporting up to 32 GB total. This amount covers typical multitasking and business applications, while users running heavy virtualisation or large datasets may require the maximum supported capacity.

Questions about this item

Will the 512 GB M.2 SSD and 1 TB SSD work with my older motherboard?

This system uses an Intel Core i5-8500 with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 and DDR4 memory; compatibility with an older motherboard depends on that board supporting 8th Gen processors and DDR4 slots.

How can I verify the Intel UHD Graphics 630 is active after setup?

Open Device Manager in Windows 10 Pro and confirm Intel UHD Graphics 630 appears under Display adapters, then run a video or benchmark to see the i5-8500 iGPU handling the load.

Does the box include the USB Wi-Fi dongle, keyboard and mouse, or must I buy them separately?

The package includes a USB wireless dongle, USB keyboard and USB mouse, so no separate purchase is needed for those peripherals.
