Compact Business Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a small-form-factor desktop built around an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor running at 3.20 GHz with a 4.60 GHz turbo boost. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 UDIMM memory and a 2.5-inch 512 GB solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, and a USB keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Connectivity and Expansion

The SFF chassis fits on or under a desk and provides a DVD-ROM optical drive for legacy media. Wireless connectivity comes via a USB dongle capable of 5 GHz operation, while integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives displays through the available video outputs. The 240-pin DIMM slots support DDR4 memory up to 32 GB for future upgrades.

Processor Determines Fit

The 65-watt, 6-core 12-thread i7-8700 with 12 MB cache defines the performance ceiling for office productivity and multi-tasking workloads. Buyers who need discrete graphics acceleration or higher core counts for rendering should look elsewhere.
