Compact business desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a small-form-factor desktop built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700 processor with six cores and a 4.60 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout pairing a 512 GB M.2 SSD with a 1 TB SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment in office environments.

Office deployments not GPU workloads

This system suits businesses that need reliable multi-threaded performance for productivity suites, browser-based apps and light content creation. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles standard display output but cannot accelerate 3D rendering, CAD or modern gaming titles. Buyers who require discrete graphics horsepower or greater internal expansion should evaluate larger chassis alternatives.

Peripherals and connectivity included

A USB keyboard and mouse are bundled so the workstation is ready to use after adding a monitor. A USB wireless dongle adds dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth without occupying an internal slot. The DVD-ROM drive provides legacy media access for archival or installation tasks that still rely on optical discs.

Questions about this item

What display cable do I need to connect a monitor to the Intel UHD Graphics 630 on this ThinkCentre M720s?

The small-form-factor chassis provides DisplayPort and HDMI outputs driven by the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630; use whichever cable matches your monitor's input.

Will my existing DDR4 UDIMM modules work alongside the 32 GB already installed in the four 240-pin slots?

The system arrives with 32 GB of DDR4 UDIMM memory populating the available 240-pin DIMM sockets; additional modules cannot be added without removing the factory-fitted sticks.

How can I confirm the 512 GB M.2 SSD and the 1 TB SSD are both recognised after first boot?

Open Windows 10 Pro Disk Management and verify two separate drives appear, one sized close to 512 GB and the other close to 1 TB.
