Compact business desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a small-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor with a 3.00 GHz base frequency and 4.10 GHz maximum turbo. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, and the package includes a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Office users seeking a ready-to-run system

This configuration suits professionals who need a compact, quiet machine for everyday productivity, video calls and multitasking across office applications. The integrated wireless connectivity and bundled peripherals simplify deployment. Buyers who require a dedicated graphics card, additional drive bays or a larger power envelope for workstation-class workloads should consider other form factors.

256 GB NVMe boot drive

The single 256 GB NVMe SSD provides fast boot and application load times within a space-efficient chassis. Capacity is fixed at this level, so users with large local data sets or extensive media libraries will need external or network storage to supplement the internal drive.

Questions about this item

How loud does the air-cooled i5-8500 system run under sustained load?

The compact chassis uses standard air cooling with a single system fan; typical office workloads stay near idle noise levels.

Do I need to supply my own display and wired network cable?

Yes, no monitor is included and the single RJ45 port connects at Fast Ethernet speeds.

Will my existing DDR4 DIMMs work if I add them to the two free slots?

The board accepts DDR4 modules only; match the installed speed and voltage for stable operation.
