Compact Business Mini PC

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M75q is a mini form-factor desktop built for office environments that need quiet, space-efficient computing. It ships with an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650GE six-core processor, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse are included. Buyers who need discrete graphics expansion or additional internal drive bays should consider a larger chassis.

Thermals Noise and 65W Power

The system draws power from a 65W supply while the AMD Radeon integrated graphics handle display output without a separate card. The low-power processor and compact thermal design keep acoustic output low during typical office workloads such as document editing, video conferencing and web browsing. Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 provide stable connectivity without adding heat.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous multi-threaded tasks the six-core CPU can reach 4.40GHz boost frequencies while remaining within the 65W envelope. The integrated Radeon graphics share system memory, so extended render or compute sessions stay responsive without thermal throttling. Dual-monitor support via the available video outputs allows persistent multi-screen productivity throughout the workday.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1TB NVMe SSD and what step do people miss?

The 1TB NVMe SSD comes pre-installed in the M.2 slot. If adding a second drive, secure it with the motherboard screw after insertion — the step often missed is fastening that screw.

What maintenance or replacement will the AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650GE system need later?

The 65W power supply and the internal cooling fan are the components most likely to need replacement after extended use.

What limit appears first when the 6-core processor runs at 4.40GHz boost under sustained load?

The 65W power supply caps total system power, so the CPU will throttle before reaching thermal limits during prolonged heavy workloads.
