Compact business mini PC

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M75q is a new mini desktop built around a Zen 3 Ryzen 5 PRO 5650GE six-core processor running at 3.40 GHz with a 4.4 GHz boost. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory, a 512 GB NVMe drive and Windows 11 Pro, targeting office workers and home users who need a quiet, space-saving system for everyday productivity.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 65 W power supply and integrated AMD Radeon graphics keep thermals modest during long document, browser and video-conferencing sessions. The six-core design with 12 threads handles multi-tasking without throttling, while WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 maintain stable wireless links throughout the day.

Setup checks before ordering

Verify that your monitors accept HDMI or DisplayPort input, because no other video outputs are present. Ensure you have USB-A peripherals or adapters for the two USB 2.0 ports and the single USB 3.2 Type-C port, and confirm that the 7 × 7.5 × 1.5 inch footprint fits your desk or VESA mount.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 65 W supply draw when the Ryzen 5 PRO 5650GE runs at full load all day?

The system ships with a 65 W power supply; the processor has a base speed of 3.40 GHz and can boost to 4.4 GHz across its 6 cores and 12 threads, so sustained workloads will stay within that power envelope.

Do I need to provide my own monitor and input devices, or are they included?

A USB keyboard and USB mouse are included in the box; the mini PC has HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, so you only need a display with one of those inputs.

Will my older USB 2.0 peripherals work with the USB 3.2 Type-C and USB 2.0 ports on this unit?

Yes — the two USB 2.0 ports accept legacy devices directly, and the USB 3.2 Type-C port is backward-compatible with USB 2.0 peripherals using a suitable cable or adapter.
