Compact business desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M900 10FM002UUS is a small-form-factor desktop built for office environments. It ships with Windows 7 Professional and includes a keyboard, mouse and Windows 10 Pro licence media. An Intel Core i5-6500T processor running at 2.50 GHz handles everyday productivity tasks.

Suitable for light office work.

This system suits users who need a ready-to-run PC for document editing, email and web browsing. The 4 GB of DDR4 memory limits performance with many simultaneous applications. Buyers who want more memory capacity or faster storage should look at other configurations.

4 GB DDR4 memory capacity

The installed memory is 4 GB of DDR4 SDRAM, a single figure that determines how many programmes run smoothly. Match this capacity to your workload before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How do I install extra memory in the ThinkCentre M900 and what step is often missed?

Open the chassis, align the notch on the DDR4 module with the slot key, press firmly until the side clips click, then verify the new total in BIOS — skipping the BIOS check is the common oversight.

Which component in this desktop will most likely need replacement first?

The 500 GB mechanical hard drive has moving parts that wear over time, so plan to replace it with a solid-state drive for better reliability.

What limit appears first when the i5-6500T runs a sustained heavy workload?

The compact cooler reaches its thermal capacity, causing the processor to reduce clock speeds below 2.50 GHz to stay within safe temperatures.
