15.6" Business Laptop for Professionals

This Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 4 is a new 15.6-inch laptop built for office work and study. It runs on a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1255U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads, reaching up to 4.7GHz. The 24GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD (2 x 512GB) provide fast multitasking and storage. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for business features.

Suited for Multi-Taskers.

The 24GB memory and 10-core processor suit users running many browser tabs, office suites and video calls together. The anti-glare 300-nit IPS display helps in bright rooms. Buyers who need a dedicated GPU for 3D rendering, heavy video editing or gaming should look at a different system. The integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle general productivity and media playback only.

Deciding Spec: 24GB DDR4 RAM Soldered Configuration

The single specification that decides fit is the 24GB DDR4 RAM amount. This capacity is fixed and cannot be upgraded later. If your workload regularly exceeds this memory ceiling, this laptop will throttle. If 24GB covers your peak usage with headroom, the soldered design delivers consistent performance without extra slots to manage.

Questions about this item

What physical space does the 15.6 inch laptop with 20 inch length and 14 inch width require on a desk?

The laptop measures 20 inch by 14 inch and stands 4 inch high, so allow at least that footprint plus room for cable bends at the Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.0 ports.

How is the 24GB DDR4 RAM installed, and which step do buyers often miss?

The 24GB DDR4 ships as two 512GB SSD modules already seated; the step buyers miss is confirming Windows 11 Pro recognises the full 24GB in Task Manager before adding workloads.

What maintenance will the 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD (2*512GB) and 720p webcam need later?

Run TRIM on the 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD periodically, keep the 720p webcam lens clean, and use the Kensington Security Slot for physical anchoring.
