Suits field professionals needing ISV-certified

This laptop fits engineers and designers who require Quadro driver stability and Thunderbolt 4 docking for external monitors. Buyers who want a touchscreen, a larger chassis with discrete high-end GPU cooling, or user-replaceable memory modules should look at other form factors.

Quadro T500 with 4GB GDDR6

The professional GPU determines whether this unit can accelerate the specific CAD and rendering workloads you run. If your applications demand higher video memory or certified drivers for a different GPU tier, this specification is the deciding factor.

Questions about this item

Does the 12W base power limit throttle the i5-1145G7 during long rendering jobs?

The i5-1145G7 runs at a 12W base power with a 4.40 GHz turbo, so sustained multi-core loads will drop clocks once the thermal budget fills.

How loud do the fans get and how hot does the chassis run when the Quadro T500 is pushed for hours?

Under continuous GPU load the dual fans spin up to an audible but not intrusive level; the keyboard deck and bottom surface become warm but stay within comfortable limits for desk use.

Which docks or monitors can I plug straight into the Thunderbolt 4 ports without extra adapters?

Any Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C dock, DisplayPort-alt monitor, or HDMI 2.0 display connects directly; the side docking connector also supports Lenovo mechanical docks.
