Mobile workstation with Quadro graphics

The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built around an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor running up to 3.50 GHz. It ships with Windows 7 Professional and includes a fingerprint reader for secure sign-in. ISV certification across more than 100 applications makes it a reliable platform for professional 3D and design workflows.

32 GB DDR4 and 2 TB SSD capacity

The system provides 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB solid-state drive, giving ample headroom for large assemblies, multi-layer projects and heavy multitasking. Storage and memory at this scale reduce the need for external drives during field work. Extremely large datasets or GPU-bound rendering tasks may still exceed the 2 GB frame buffer of the Quadro M1000M.

FHD IPS display and legacy OS fit

A 1920 x 1080 IPS anti-glare panel delivers accurate colour for on-site review without a secondary monitor. Windows 7 Professional supports legacy software stacks that have not migrated to newer releases. Buyers who require a current operating system or touchscreen input will need a different platform.

The 15.6" 1920 x 1080 IPS panel and NVIDIA Quadro M1000M graphics support external displays through the available video ports on this mobile workstation.

How can I verify the i7-6700HQ is hitting its 3.50 GHz turbo and the 32GB DDR4 is recognised after first boot?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab to confirm the Intel Core i7-6700HQ reaches 3.50 GHz under load and that 32GB DDR4 memory is reported.
