Mobile workstation for rendering and AI

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation running Windows 10 Pro. It targets professionals who need a portable platform for rendering and data-intensive AI projects. The system combines a six-core Intel Core i7-9750H processor with an NVIDIA Quadro T2000 graphics card. A fingerprint reader adds biometric security for business use.

Sustained load with 128GB DDR4 and Quadro T2000

The 2.60 GHz hexa-core CPU reaches a 4.5 GHz turbo frequency and includes 12MB L2 cache for heavy compute tasks. With 128GB of DDR4 memory at 2666 MHz, large datasets stay in RAM during extended sessions. The Quadro T2000 provides 4GB video memory for GPU-accelerated workloads. The 1TB NVME drive keeps storage latency low throughout long renders.

Straightforward deployment with ThinkShield security

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed so the laptop is ready to join a managed environment. ThinkShield features and a discrete TPM handle encryption without extra setup steps. The 15.6 inch FHD IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 resolution offers 300 nits brightness and 72% color gamut for visual reference. WiFi-6 certification supports stable connectivity in dense office settings.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the Core i7-9750H and Quadro T2000 get during all-day rendering?

The six-core i7-9750H runs at 2.60 GHz base and can boost to 4.5 GHz, while the Quadro T2000 with 4 GB video memory shares the same thermal solution; sustained loads will spin the fans up but the chassis is built for mobile workstation thermals.

What must I already own to use the 128 GB DDR4 2666 MHz memory and 1 TB NVME storage?

The laptop ships with 128 GB DDR4 2666 MHz and a 1 TB NVME drive installed, so no extra memory modules or storage drives are required for operation.

Will the 15.6" 1920x1080 IPS panel at 300 nits and 72 % colour gamut match my older external monitor?

The built-in FHD IPS display covers 72 % colour gamut at 300 nits; you can connect an older monitor via the available video outputs and run both screens at their native resolutions.
