Business laptop for Linux users

The Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Gen 2 ships with Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon pre-installed. An 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with four cores and 32GB DDR4 memory handles office workloads and multitasking. A 1TB PCIe SSD provides storage for documents and applications. The 14.0 inch Full HD IPS display shows 1920x1080 resolution.

Ready to use with standard ports

No internal assembly is required because memory and storage are already fitted. The 65W power supply connects via USB-C Thunderbolt 4. Drivers for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and Intel Iris Xe graphics are included in the Mint kernel. Secure Boot may need to be disabled in BIOS if you install a different distribution later.

Check power and display needs before ordering

The integrated 50WHr battery and 65W adapter limit sustained heavy loads. Only one HDMI 1.4 port is available for external monitors. Two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 and two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports cover most peripherals. Buyers who need a dedicated GPU, larger screen or user-replaceable battery should consider other models.
