ThinkPad T450s 14.0-inch business laptop

This Lenovo ThinkPad T450s is a 14.0-inch laptop built for everyday office work. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5-5300U processor clocked at 2.30GHz. The system includes 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. It arrives new with an AC adapter and battery included.

Upgrade from slower storage or less memory

The solid-state drive replaces a traditional hard drive for faster boot and application loading. Moving from 4GB to 8GB of RAM allows more browser tabs and documents to stay open without swapping. The jump is worth it when your current machine stalls on multitasking or takes minutes to reach the desktop.

Fits a mobile workflow with minimal peripherals

The compact 14.0-inch form factor slides into a standard sleeve and runs on its included battery between meetings. A single AC adapter keeps it charged at a desk or in a hotel room. The 256GB SSD stores the operating system and a working set of files without needing an external drive. Buyers who want more storage or a dedicated graphics card should look at larger workstation models.

Questions about this item

Will this 14.0" laptop fit in my existing 14" sleeve or briefcase compartment?

The 14.0" screen matches standard 14" bag dimensions, so most sleeves and compartments sized for 14-inch notebooks will accommodate it.

What is the correct order for seating the battery and connecting the AC adapter during first setup?

Insert the included battery until it clicks, then plug the supplied AC adapter into the laptop before pressing the power button.

When will the 256GB SSD likely need replacement under normal office workloads?

A 256GB SSD in this class typically delivers several years of service; plan a swap when free space drops below 10% or SMART tools report wear warnings.
