Performance-Focused Enterprise Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad T460s is a 14.0" laptop built for professionals who need a durable, mobile workstation. It runs on an Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor with 8GB DDR4 memory and a 128GB M.2 SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 drives the 1920 x 1080 LED display. Windows 10 Home comes pre-installed.

Carbon-Fiber Reinforced Chassis

The carbon-fiber-reinforced lid and magnesium body are designed to withstand MIL-STD 810G durability tests for extreme temperatures, high altitudes, humidity and vibrations. Connectivity includes three USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260, HDMI, Mini DisplayPort, an SD card reader and a SIM card slot. No fingerprint reader is present. Buyers who need a touchscreen or a larger SSD should look elsewhere.

Sustained Workload Thermal Profile

Under continuous load the dual-core Skylake CPU and shared-memory graphics draw on the ultrabook's compact cooling system. The 128GB M.2 SSD provides fast boot and application launch speeds for office workflows. Battery life supports extended mobile use away from a power outlet. This configuration is not suited for heavy 3D rendering, video encoding or gaming workloads that demand discrete graphics and higher thermal headroom.
