ThinkPad T470s 14" FHD IPS Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad T470s is a 14.0 inch ultrabook with a 1920 x 1080 IPS display. It runs on an Intel Core i7-7600U dual-core processor with Intel HD Graphics 620. The system includes 20GB DDR4 memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro comes preinstalled for immediate use.

Suits mobile professionals needing large local

This configuration suits users who need extensive 4TB NVMe capacity on a 14 inch chassis. The 20GB DDR4 memory supports demanding multitasking workloads. Buyers who want a touchscreen interface should look at other models. Those requiring discrete graphics performance for rendering or gaming will need a different system.

4TB NVMe SSD decides fit

The single specification that decides fit is the 4TB NVMe SSD. It determines whether the laptop holds your full project library without external drives. No other component in this build offers a comparable capacity ceiling. Verify your workload fits within this storage limit before purchase.

Questions about this item

Can the 20GB DDR4 RAM be upgraded later?

The 20GB DDR4 configuration fills the available slots, so no further memory expansion is possible.

What limits sustained performance of the i7-7600U?

The dual-core 2.80 GHz processor with 3.90 GHz turbo will hit thermal limits first during prolonged heavy workloads.

How loud and hot does the T470s get under all-day load?

The compact carbon-fibre chassis and integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 mean fan noise and surface temperature rise noticeably during continuous use.
