Business laptop with 12 GB RAM

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14-inch mainstream laptop equipped with an Intel Core i5-8250U processor running at 1.60 GHz. It ships with 12 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB SSD. The matte IPS display delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Windows 7 Professional 64-bit comes pre-installed.

Check Thunderbolt and OS needs

Verify that your peripherals and docks can use the Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port for 40 Gbps data and video bandwidth. Confirm that Windows 7 Professional meets your software compatibility and security requirements. Ensure Bluetooth 4.1 supports your existing wireless accessories. The integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics handle standard business workloads.

Replaces older ThinkPads without Thunderbolt

This unit upgrades from earlier ThinkPad models that lack Thunderbolt 3 connectivity and the match-on-chip fingerprint reader. The jump is worth it when you need faster peripheral throughput, hardware-level biometric security, and the 21 MIL-SPEC tested durability in a chassis weighing up to 2.9 lbs.
