The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14.0 inch FHD touchscreen ultrabook running Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 8 GB DDR4 RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel. Two USB Type-C ports add charging, external-display and data options beyond the standard USB 3.1 Gen1 pair, while HDMI covers legacy monitors. Windows 11 Pro is installed out of the box, so the machine is ready for managed business environments without extra licensing steps. The bundled OEM AC adapter ensures immediate operation.

Suits mobile professionals needing touch

Buyers who want a lightweight 14 inch Windows 11 laptop with touchscreen, quad-core performance and a mix of modern and legacy I/O will find this configuration practical. Users who require discrete graphics, more than 8 GB of memory or larger internal storage should look at other models.

Questions about this item

Can the 8 GB DDR4 memory be expanded later?

The supplier notes the platform supports DDR4 up to 24 GB total, so additional modules can be added.

What limits performance first during a long heavy workload?

The Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares system memory and will throttle before the quad-core i7-8650U reaches its thermal ceiling.

How loud and hot does the 14" Touchscreen ultrabook get when running all day?

The slim chassis uses a single fan; expect audible airflow and warm palm-rest areas under continuous load.
