Business Ultrabook with WWAN

The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14-inch business laptop built for mobile professionals who need integrated 4G LTE connectivity. Thunderbolt 3 Practical Limits

A single Thunderbolt 3 port provides up to 40 Gbps bandwidth for data and video while supplying power to compatible peripherals. Real-world throughput depends on cable quality, device controllers and the PCIe lane allocation of the attached dock or drive. Daisy-chaining multiple high-speed devices shares the total bandwidth across the chain.

Upgrade From Older Ultrabooks

This unit replaces legacy ultrabooks that lack native WWAN, Thunderbolt 3 or NVMe storage. The jump is worth it for users who require hardware-backed fingerprint authentication, MIL-SPEC durability testing and a 64-bit Windows 7 Pro environment on a platform weighing under 2.9 lbs.
