Suits mobile professionals needing legacy OS

This unit suits organisations that still require Windows 7 Professional for certified applications or specialised legacy software. Buyers who need a current supported operating system, a touchscreen, or a larger display should look elsewhere.

Windows 7 Professional factory load

The decisive specification is the pre-installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit operating system, which determines software compatibility and long-term support status for the deployment.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the i5-8250U get when the laptop runs all day?

The i5-8250U operates at a base speed of 1.60 GHz and can boost up to 3.40 GHz under load, so thermals and fan noise will rise during sustained heavy work.

What peripherals or docks must I already own to use the Thunderbolt 3 port?

You need Thunderbolt 3-certified cables or docks to reach the 40 Gbps data rate and dual-video bandwidth; standard USB-C accessories will work but at lower speeds.

Will my older USB-A keyboard and mouse work with the four USB ports?

Yes, the four USB ports accept standard USB-A plugs, so existing keyboards, mice and flash drives connect without adapters.
