Corporate workstation ready

This Lenovo ThinkPad T540P is a 15.6 inch LED notebook built around a dual-core Intel Core i7 4th Gen processor at 3.00 GHz. It ships with 8 GB DDR3 RAM and a 2.5 inch 1 TB hard drive. Windows 10 Professional 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate business deployment.

Straightforward memory and storage access

The chassis provides standard ThinkPad service panels so the two SODIMM slots and the single 2.5 inch drive bay are reachable without full disassembly. Maximum supported memory is 16 GB DDR3. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 uses system memory, so adding a second module improves both capacity and graphics bandwidth.

Sustained office workloads stay cool

Under continuous load the dual-core CPU and integrated graphics share the same thermal solution, so clock speeds settle to a steady state rather than peaking briefly. The 1366 x 768 panel reduces GPU demand compared with higher resolutions. Fan noise remains moderate during long document, browser or video-conference sessions.
