Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5 i7-7600U 8GB 256GB 14" FHD 4G LTE WWAN

Business ultrabook with integrated 4G

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5 is a 14-inch Windows 10 Pro laptop built around an Intel Core i7-7600U processor that reaches 3.9 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe SSD. The non-touch FHD IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1080. A 4G LTE WWAN card provides mobile broadband wherever a signal exists. The carbon-fibre reinforced chassis passes 12 military-grade requirements and more than 200 durability tests while weighing 2.49 lbs.

Thunderbolt 3 and biometric login

A Thunderbolt 3 port handles data, video and charging through USB-C at up to 40 Gbps. The Touch Sensor Fingerprint Reader replaces swipe-style sensors for quicker Windows Hello sign-in. Bluetooth 4.1 connects peripherals without a dongle. The UltraNav touchpad and TrackPoint combine for cursor control that many IT professionals prefer over a mouse.

Soldered memory and single SSD slot

The 8 GB of RAM is not upgradeable, so buyers who need more memory should choose a different configuration. Only one internal NVMe slot is available, limiting future storage expansion to a single drive. The 4G LTE module requires a compatible nano-SIM and an active data plan from a carrier. Verify that your region’s LTE bands match the installed WWAN card before ordering.
