14-inch WQHD ultraportable with 4G LTE

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5 is a 14.0-inch mainstream laptop built around an Intel Core i7-7600U processor reaching 3.9 GHz. It ships with 8GB of memory, a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD and a 2560 x 1440 IPS display. Integrated 4G LTE WWAN and Windows 10 Pro make it suited to mobile professionals who need reliable connectivity away from Wi-Fi.

Replaces bulkier work laptops without WWAN

This unit upgrades from heavier clamshells that lack built-in mobile broadband and Thunderbolt 3 over USB-C. The carbon-fibre reinforced chassis passes 12 military-grade requirements and more than 200 durability tests while weighing 2.49 lbs. The jump is worth it when daily travel demands a durable, sub-2.9 lb platform with always-on LTE.

Straightforward deployment for managed fleets

Windows 10 Pro and the fingerprint reader support standard enterprise imaging and security policies. Thunderbolt 3 uses the USB-C port for charging and docking, so cable compatibility depends on the peripheral. The non-touch QHD panel and soldered memory limit on-site upgrades to the NVMe SSD slot only.
