Target ultraportable

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a 14.0-inch mainstream laptop built for mobile professionals who need a lightweight Windows 7 Pro machine. An Intel Core i7-7600U processor running up to 3.9 GHz and 8GB of memory handle daily workloads, while a 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD provides fast storage in a chassis weighing 2.49 lbs.

Carbon-fibre durability

Four layers of carbon-fibre reinforced material and a magnesium alloy roll-cage meet 12 military-grade requirements and survive more than 200 durability tests. Four USB ports include Thunderbolt 3 over USB-C for charging and data, while the UltraNav touchpad and fingerprint reader add familiar ThinkPad control and biometric security.

Thunderbolt 3 bandwidth

The Thunderbolt 3 interface delivers up to 40 Gbps, offering four times the data and twice the video bandwidth of other port types when connected to compatible devices. Bluetooth 4.1 handles wireless peripherals, and the non-touch FHD IPS panel outputs 1920 x 1080 resolution without pen or multi-touch support.
