12.5-inch Touch Business Laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad X220 is a compact business laptop with a 12.5-inch HD touch display and an included pen for direct input. It ships with Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit and an Intel Core i7-2640M processor reaching 3.50 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 8GB DDR3 memory and a 256GB solid-state drive for the operating system and applications.

Wired and Wireless Connectivity Limits

Wired networking is provided by a single 10/100/1000Mbps LAN port. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN. External video output is limited to one VGA port and one DisplayPort. The unit provides three USB ports and a proprietary docking connector for expanded peripheral support in a desktop setup.

8GB Soldered Memory Ceiling

The 8GB DDR3 capacity is the total system memory and cannot be increased beyond this amount. Buyers who need more memory for virtual machines or large datasets should consider a different platform. The 256GB SSD offers the only internal storage; there is no secondary drive bay for additional capacity.
