Business touch laptop for mobile professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad X220 is a 12.5 inch touch laptop built for mobile professionals who need pen input and Windows 8.1 Pro. It runs on an Intel Core i7-2640M processor with a turbo frequency of 3.50 GHz and 4GB of DDR3 memory. The 1366x768 HD touch display supports direct on-screen interaction.

Durable chassis with docking and legacy ports

The black chassis includes a redesigned hinge with stronger magnetic-latching support and the ThinkPad keyboard. A docking connector allows shared work areas with other ThinkPad series laptops. Connectivity covers three USB ports, one VGA output, one DisplayPort output and Gigabit LAN. Wireless uses 802.11b/g/n.

1TB hard drive and 4GB RAM decide fit

The single specification that decides suitability is the 1TB mechanical hard drive paired with only 4GB of DDR3 memory. Buyers who want an SSD or more than 4GB of RAM must look elsewhere. Video memory is shared system memory.
