Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Professionals needing a rugged, lightweight 12.5 inch laptop with touch input and Windows 8.1 Pro will appreciate the MIL-SPEC construction. Buyers who require more storage capacity or higher display resolution should consider other options. The fixed 8GB memory also limits intensive multitasking workloads.

Deciding spec 256GB SSD and 8GB DDR3

The 256GB solid state drive and 8GB DDR3 memory define the performance floor for this X240. This capacity handles standard business applications and web browsing smoothly. Verify that the storage and RAM meet your workload requirements before purchase.
