Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 2-in-1

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-20 is a fully rugged 10.1-inch 2-in-1 that detaches into a tablet with one hand. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core m5-6Y57 processor at 1.1 GHz with 16 GB of memory and a 500 GB SSD. The multi-touch WUXGA display (1920 x 1200) supports capacitive gloved input and a digitizer pen. MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and IP65 certifications confirm resistance to drops, shock, vibration, dust, water spray and temperature extremes.

Field workers needing detachable rugged mobility

This unit suits field technicians, emergency responders and mobile professionals who need a lightweight 3.9 lb device with integrated 4G LTE FirstNet Band 14 connectivity and a built-in handle that doubles as a kickstand. The spill-resistant keyboard and shock-mounted flex construction support gloved operation in harsh environments. Buyers who require a traditional clamshell laptop without a detachable screen, a larger display, or higher processing performance for intensive workloads should consider other form factors.

16 GB memory and 500 GB SSD capacity

The 16 GB RAM is the maximum supported, providing headroom for typical business applications and multitasking within the Core m5 platform. The 500 GB SSD stores operating system, tools and local data for offline work. Intel HD Graphics 515 handles standard display output and light visual tasks. Demanding creative suites, virtualisation workloads or large local databases will exceed the available memory ceiling and storage headroom.
