A spill-resistant, backlit keyboard with six-row island keys supports accurate typing in low light. Connectivity includes two USB ports, Bluetooth 4.0 and a single headphone and microphone combo jack for daily peripheral use.

Questions about this item

Does the Intel Core i7-4600U processor run at the full 3.3 GHz turbo on this laptop?

The i7-4600U is rated up to 3.3 GHz turbo, but sustained speed depends on the X240 cooling and power limits.

What physical drives can the 12.5" X240 chassis accept?

The X240 ships with a 500GB SSD and has no optical bay; the chassis supports one internal 2.5" drive.

How is the 8GB DDR3 memory installed, and what mistake should I avoid?

The 8GB is soldered to the board; there is no SO-DIMM slot, so you cannot add or replace RAM later.
