Conceals Larger Wall Imperfections

This oversized duplex receptacle wallplate hides irregularities that standard or midway plates cannot cover. It measures a full .75 inches higher and wider than a standard wallplate. The device-mount design fits directly over the electrical device. It is made from white thermoset material for a clean appearance.

Resists Heat and Surface Damage

The thermoset construction provides high dielectric strength and arc resistance for electrical safety. Its smooth face with rounded edges resists dust accumulation and makes cleaning simple. The material withstands fading, discoloration, grease, oil, organic solvents and moisture. It also resists scratches to maintain its finish over time.

Single-Gang Duplex Opening Only

This wallplate accepts one standard duplex receptacle and will not fit toggle, decorator or blank configurations. It covers a single gang box and cannot span multi-gang installations. Buyers needing a different device opening or a multi-gang plate must choose another model. The oversized dimensions only apply to this single-gang form factor.

Questions about this item

How is this oversized wallplate mounted on the receptacle?

The wallplate is device-mount, so it attaches directly to the receptacle's mounting screws after the outlet is secured in the electrical box.

What cleaning or replacement will this thermoset wallplate need over time?

The smooth face and rounded edges resist dust accumulation; wipe with a damp cloth if needed, and the material resists fading, discoloration, grease, oil, organic solvents, moisture and scratches.

At what point does the .75" oversize dimension stop hiding wall irregularities?

The plate is a full .75" higher and wider than standard size; gaps larger than that extra margin will remain visible around the edges.
