Workgroup Monochrome Multifunction

The Lexmark MX721ade is a monochrome laser multifunction printer built for large workgroups that need print, copy, scan and fax in one device. It produces up to 65 pages per minute at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. A 7-inch e-Task colour touch screen provides direct access to workflow functions. A quad-core 1200 MHz processor with 2048 MB memory drives the operation.

Connectivity And Paper Handling

Standard interfaces include USB and Ethernet, with a wireless option available for flexible placement. Integrated automatic duplex printing reduces paper consumption. The flatbed scanner includes a 200-sheet single-pass duplex automatic document feeder for fast two-sided scanning. Total input capacity reaches 3300 sheets to minimise reload frequency.

Sustained Output And Maintenance

High-yield toner cartridges rated for 55000 pages support long print runs without interruption. A long-life imaging unit and a fuser designed to last the printer's life reduce service intervals. Steel frame construction and a robust paper feeding system maintain consistent throughput across heavy monthly duty cycles.

Questions about this item

How is the 200-sheet DADF installed and what step is often missed?

The DADF ships integrated; the step often missed is enabling single-pass duplex scanning in the e-Task touch-screen menus before the first scan job.

Which consumable will need replacement first on the MX721ade?

The high-yield toner cartridge rated for 55 000 pages typically requires replacement before the long-life imaging unit or fuser.

What throughput limit appears first during continuous printing at 65 ppm?

The 3300-sheet maximum input capacity is the first constraint; once trays empty the engine must pause for reloading.
